There’s never been a better time to get away to our 15,000-acre
sporting playground in the mountains of Virginia. Our fabulous specials
and promotions offer the splendor of the season at the lowest rates of
the year. All specials feature luxurious room accommodations,
traditional afternoon tea, use of 100 miles of hiking and biking
trails, the Fitness Center, the spring-fed Indoor Pool, historical
tours, nightly movies in our turn-of-the-century Theatre, valet
parking, phone access fees and shuttles to resort activities. Please continue

BOOKING INFORMATION:
*Rates are per person, per night based on
double occupancy. Subject to availability and some restrictions apply.
Pricing does not include service fee or sales tax. Special rate for 2nd
room for children traveling with parents, subject to availability at
time of booking. Ages 5 and above additional charge for meal plans,
where applicable. Rates for other room categories and suites available
upon request. Not available for conference bookings. All recreational
activities are weather permitting with no rain checks.
Deposit:
An advance deposit equal to the first night's stay will be required to
guarantee a room, and is applied to the last night of your reservation.
Early departure will result in forfeiture of your deposit. The deposit
must be received within 10 days of verbal confirmation to avoid
cancellation. All major credit cards and personal checks will be
accepted.
Cancellation:
Cancellation must be received 15 days prior to arrival for a full
refund. Failure to show on first night of stay will cause cancellation
of all activities and dining reservations for entire stay.
Service Charge:
For the convenience of our guests, a
15% service charge will be added to the room rate, or to the package
price where applicable, and 18% for ala carte Spa charges for services
provided. A 17% service charge will be added to a la carte food and
beverage charges. The Homestead pays room attendants, Spa attendants
and dining personnel in lieu of normal gratuities. Additional tipping
is at the discretion of the guest. State tax is 4.5%.
Dining and Recreation Reservations:
Advance reservations and appointments
are recommended for all evening dining and recreation to ensure
preferred times.
Dress:
During the day, casual resort attire
is preferred. Jeans, bathing suits and ski boots are discouraged in the
Great Hall. You may wear resort attire to the Spa, where robes and
slippers are provided. In the evening, jacket and tie are required in
the Dining Room and jackets elsewhere. Casual resort attire is welcomed
at Sam Snead's Tavern and the Players Pub.
Pets:
We regret that we cannot accommodate
pets; however, the Concierge staff will assist you in making
arrangements with a local kennel.
